Meeting Christina and Emmett felt like discovering kindred spirits.Right away I just knew we were going to get along great and I wasn't wrong. I photographed their engagement session a few months prior to their wedding which we photographed in the sweetest Jenner Airbnb followed by a beach adventure. Together, we headed to the picturesque Straus Home Ranch in Marshall, CA, where their vows echoed against the backdrop of gentle breezes and crashing waves.

I love Strauss Creek Ranch in Marshall, where they said their vows. I've shot up their several times and it's just such a gorgeous backdrop for a wedding. You've got this stunning bluff, tall eucalyptus groves, the sea below and a meadow at the top make this spot extra special. Christina and Emmett also included gorgeous muted tones to celebrate the space but not dominate it. Let that view shine! 

The electric connection between Christina and Emmett made them so natural to photograph though they'd argue that they came into our first meeting feeling awkward and nervous. By the time we got to their wedding day we weren fast friends and the photographs were easy peasy.

I'm not always able to photograph engagement sessions for clients but when I am I feel extra lucky. We know each other; You know me and how I work, communicate and the shots I'm waiting for and I know what makes you most comfortable in front of the camera and how to be the best support of the day that I possibly can. When my clients place their trust in me, I'm eternally grateful, take that very serious and you have a much better wedding day. There are lots of things to think about, I'd love for photography to be the least of them. Go enjoy your day!
