When Courtney first reached out to me, she shared something that truly resonated with my approach to wedding photography. She said, 'Your page resonates with us as we aren't just looking for "pretty pictures," but rather photos that represent real memories and candid feelings in a way that allows us to truly convey the love present on our wedding day. Getting to show these photos to our children someday will be so special.'
It was clear from the start that Courtney understood my passion and could see in my images what I'm always striving to capture: natural, candid, tender moments that tell the story of a wedding day authentically. My goal is to step back and allow you to stay fully present with your favorite people while I document those precious moments through my lens.
I also want to highlight how Courtney and Jack intentionally carved out private moments within their day for themselves and for photography. Their first look included exchanging private vows, which I absolutely love and then they took a bit of time in the forest for portraits. In the evening they set aside time to enjoy the beautiful sunset along the coast together while their guests headed to the dance floor. I was so happy to have the opportunity to create some beautiful images with time set aside for them!
What stood out to me about Courtney and Jack's approach is their understanding that everything takes time. By setting aside moments for just the two of them and their photography team, they ensured that their wedding day joy would be beautifully documented with guests and without. When I sent them their gallery, I was particularly excited for them to see the laughter, tears of joy, and tender moments that were captured between the two of them. Without dedicating time to these moments, they can easily get lost in the hustle and bustle of the day. I'm always your advocate in making sure these moments are preserved!
