From the very first time I met Kendall and John at Marine Layer, I knew they were special. What started as a wedding consultation turned into an easy conversation about everything—politics, photography, wine, life. By the time we wrapped up, we were already making plans to meet again.

Since their wedding, we've shared drinks around town and dinners on their sunset deck. These two are kind, thoughtful, hilarious, and genuinely good people. I'm so happy to call them friends.

Their wedding day at Olympia's Valley Estate in Petaluma was breathtaking. Named one of Vogue's top 20 wedding venues, Olympia's is known for sweeping vineyard views and elegant architecture—and Kendall and John made it feel even more spectacular. The weather was perfect: golden and glowing from start to finish. Kendall wore a stunning Amsale gown, and every detail—from Tori Patocchi's romantic florals to Park Avenue Catering's impeccable presentation—reflected their refined yet relaxed aesthetic.

Lili at Riley Loves Lulu coordinated flawlessly. Katie Nash Beauty created a luminous look for Kendall, Sierra LaBarge's cake was stunning, and Brandon Hafetz captured their film while Mikey Mason from Boutique DJs kept the celebration alive. The energy was warm, welcoming, and full of joy. Heartfelt toasts had us laughing and tearing up, and the ceremony felt deeply personal.

Danielle and I photographed everything—the quiet moments and the big, joyful ones. The evening light rolled in just in time for golden-hour portraits, and every frame felt like an honest reflection of who they are.
