During our very first meeting via Zoom, I immediately felt like I was catching up with old friends as Max & Aaron shared with me their story and excitement about their journey. Their infectious enthusiasm made it easy for me to feel excited right along with them. It's crucial for couples to click with their photographer and the same is true in the other direction—I find that when I feel comfortable and connected, I'm able to bring my best me and my artists eye to your day. Creating a team that you'd be delighted to spend time with is incredibly important, especially considering that you're entrusting them with one of the most important days of your life!
At Ru's Farm in Healdsburg, California, Max and Aaron beautifully blended their cultures, with Max celebrating her Haitian heritage and Aaron embracing his Jewish roots. With the help of planner Genevieve at Make It Mariko, they incorporated traditions like Haitian flag dancing and the lively Hora dance, creating an unforgettable celebration. I'd like to extend a special shout-out to Genevieve for consistently sending wonderful clients my way. Her clear, organized communication makes working together an absolute pleasure! Thank you, G, for always thinking of me.
