Nestled in the lush hillsides of my hometown Healdsburg, at the stunning Capo Creek Ranch, these two grooms from the East Coast threw a wedding that was like California dreaming meets eclectic style. Their warmth and kindness set the vibe for the day, and those jewel tones they rocked? They stole the show! The best part? People flew in from all corners to celebrate these two lovebirds, and having visitors flock to our region is always a treat. Sonoma and Napa? They've got that perfect mix of breathtaking views, delicious dining, and that rock pile pinot and I'm all about sharing that with the world. I feel lucky everyday to be surrounded by such beauty and I do not take it for granted or stop to recognize that this isn't something magical that I did to deserve this, this is where I'm from & I just got lucky.
Despite the miles between Healdsburg and New York and the planning hustle, everything fell into place seamlessly. High five to Catherine, their incredible planner who also worked with them from afar! Against the backdrop of rolling hills and whispering vines, they said their "I dos" under that golden California sun, surrounded by their nearest and dearest. Oh gosh and Mary's brilliance - Dinner in the Capo Creek wine cave is always straight out of a fairy tale, thanks to Mary, the culinary genius. Truly, if you ever get a chance to taste her menu, jump on it. Pro tip: ask for those homemade truffles!
Max and Luke, capturing your special day at Capo Creek Ranch was an absolute honor. Your love and kindness were like sunshine on a cloudy day, making it a day to remember for all of us lucky enough to be there. Here's to a lifetime of happiness and bottomless pinot noir!
