I've had the pleasure of working with Catalina and Treko for several years now, and with each shoot, our creativity only seems to grow. It's incredibly fulfilling to collaborate with someone who shares my passion for creating beautiful images. Founded in 2016 by Chilean native Catalina Marin, Treko aims to preserve and share the rich textile traditions of the artisans of Chiloé, a captivating region in southern Chile. These weaving and knitting traditions have evolved since the arrival of the Spanish and have become a vital source of income for the island's inhabitants. Treko's mission is to create unique, high-quality woolen pieces that honor these traditions, introducing them to designers and retailers worldwide. Each piece is a testament to generations of craftsmanship, passed down through families who specialize in distinct techniques to produce truly individual creations.
